Two Families find Home in 2022

This past year Steuben County Habitat has closed on two homes. One is a remodel in Corning and the other is a modular build in Bath.

The home in Corning went to Jennifer Jividen a single mother of three. Jennifer worked hard through our program for several years to make it to this point. When she moved, in she couldn’t wait to make her home a gathering place for her sons and all their friends.

The home in Bath went to Gwen Wilcox, who had been working so hard to become a homeowner through various land contract methods that fell through at the last moment until this opportunity finally arose. Gwen now lives in her new home in Bath with her grandson.

Helping people like Gwen and Jennifer is what we are all about, and we could not do this work without your generous support. We thank you!
