We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes; advocating for fair and just housing policies; and providing training and access to resources that help families improve their shelter conditions
Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action. All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people.
Donating will not only help us get us to get the ReStore up and running again but also ensure that the families waiting for the homes we are working on do not experience a delay in being able to move into their homes.
The fire started last night in our donation center and engulfed the entire donation center within a very short period. That half of the building is destroyed with the remaining structure left extremely unstable. The rest of the building was saved with only minor smoke damage…
