Women Build 2024

October 14th, from 9 am to 2 pm, Steuben County Habitat for Humanity will be holding a Women Build at our cur ReStore in Corning, NY.  We will be building a storage shed that will hold some of the tools for our upcoming Tool Library.

Women Build is all about empowerment.  It’s a rare opportunity to put a tool in your hands, try something new, and do that in a supportive, energetic environment alongside talented and fabulous local women.

Join women of all skill levels to participate in hands-on construction training and practice those techniques while building for Habitat for Humanity.  You’ll learn something new and leave with skills and confidence.  Equally important, you’ll be doing good for our community.  The time and energy that you share with us will help us offer the community an opportunity to borrow tools through our Tool Library.

Registration is limited to 25 participants.

Registration fee: $25 per person includes lunch, snacks and a year Tool Library membership ($30 value), construction skills, and priceless comradery with others who share a passion to make a difference in our community.
