Family Receives Much Needed Home Repair

This year we have been able to continue serving the Palmer family, who reside in Canisteo. Last year we were able to replace their furnace and add a residential dehumidifier after flooding damage. This year we were able to complete the project by replacing their roof.

This critical repair project was made possible by funding from the Veterans Repair Grant through Habitat for Humanity International, money from an anonymous donor, and the Rural Repair Program through USDA. The Veterans Repair Grant is available to affiliates to help disabled veterans with critical home repairs.
